Solubility Practically insoluble in water, freely soluble in ethyl acetate, soluble in ethanol (96 per cent). It is hygroscopic and swells in water.

It softens at temperatures above 40-50 °C.

Viscosity 85 % to 115 % of the value stated on the label.
Acid value Not more than 2.0
Ester value 615 to 675
Residual peroxides Not more than 100 ppm, calculated as hydrogen peroxide.

Sulfated ash Not more than 0.1%

Shelf life, Storage and Packing
It should be stored in a segregated area in a cool and ventilated place away from combustible materials. Keep in a tightly closed container, sealed until ready for use. It is packed in 25kg or 50kg HDPE bags or drums as required.
