Solubility Practically insoluble in water, very slightly soluble or practically insoluble in anhydrous ethanol, miscible with ethyl acetate, with methyl ethyl ketone and with toluene.
Acidity Specified Test. Not more than 0.15mL of0.01Msodium hydroxideis required to change the colour of the solution to blue.
Mineral Oils Specified Test.
Phenylated compounds Specified Test. The absorbance of the solution is not greater than 0.2.
Heavy metals Maximum 5µg per g
Volatile Matter Maximum 0.3%
Viscosity 90% – 110% of the nominal kinematic viscosity stated on the label, determined at 25°C

Shelf life, Storage and Packing
It should be stored in a segregated area in a cool and ventilated place away from combustible materials. Keep in a tightly closed container, sealed until ready for use. It is packed in 25kg or 50kg HDPE bags or drums as required.
